About

This site is a personal record of the albums that have mattered to me.

As music has moved from physical formats to streaming, my collection has become harder to see, organise, and remember. What was once a shelf of records or a rack of CDs is now an abstract library, easy to browse but just as easy to forget. Albums that once felt owned and familiar can disappear into the background.

I created this site to make my music collection visible again.

It acts as an archive of albums I’ve grown attached to over time, albums I’m actively revisiting, and albums I’m discovering for the first time. Some exist physically, others only on streaming services, but all are documented here as part of a single collection.

Rather than relying on algorithms or playlists, this project focuses on albums as complete works – things to return to, understand, and build a relationship with over time.

Curation

The archive is updated weekly with seven albums.

Six are albums I’ve already been exposed to, with familiarity ranging from casual awareness to deep knowledge. The seventh is always new to me: a recent release, a classic I’ve never properly listened to, or an overlooked album connected to an artist I already enjoy.

Over time, this creates a structured way to revisit old favourites, track my relationship with music, and make room for new discoveries – without losing albums simply because I forgot they were once important.
